YNU.io, which stands for Your New URL, is operated by Budder Technology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using Your New URL.

Your New URL is designed for business redirect workflows such as invoice links, appointment reminders, payment redirects, service tickets, customer portals, SMS campaigns, email campaigns, document links, CRM workflows, and operational notifications.

Information we collect

We may collect account information, workspace information, link information, CSV import information, API information, click and redirect information, billing information, and support information when you use Your New URL.

• Account information: name, email address, password hash, login activity, workspace membership, and account settings.
• Workspace information: business name, plan, Brand Path, usage limits, subscription status, and related account configuration.
• Link information: destination URLs, generated short codes, titles, external IDs, campaign names, expiration dates, status, creation method, and timestamps.
• CSV import information: uploaded file names, import status, row counts, success and failure counts, and import error summaries.
• API information: API App names, app key prefixes, hashed secrets, temporary token records, request activity, and last-used timestamps.
• Click and redirect information: clicked link, timestamp, referrer, user agent, hashed IP address, device classification, likely bot/preload classification, and related redirect metadata.
• Billing information: subscription status and billing identifiers provided by Stripe. Full payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by Your New URL.
• Support information: messages, emails, and details you provide when contacting us for help.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, workspaces, link creation, CSV upload, API access, redirects, analytics, reports, authentication, usage tracking, plan limit enforcement, usage warning emails, bot/preload classification, customer support, billing, abuse prevention, security, and service improvements.

Cookies and sessions

Your New URL uses cookies and similar browser storage for login sessions, CSRF protection, security, and basic application functionality. You may block cookies in your browser, but some parts of Your New URL may not work correctly without them.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Your New URL, including hosting providers, email delivery providers, payment processors such as Stripe, security tools, analytics or logging providers, and professional advisors.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, to enforce our Terms of Use, to protect the rights and safety of Budder Technology LLC, Your New URL, our users, or the public, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We retain account, workspace, link, API, billing, import, and reporting data as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support business operations.

Click and redirect data may be retained according to your plan, system configuration, and operational needs. Deleted links may remove related click records from active application tables, but backups, logs, audit records, or billing/usage records may remain for a limited period.

Security

We use practical administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Your New URL and user data. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password, API App Secret, and temporary auth tokens secure.

API App Secrets are intended to be shown only once when generated. Store them securely. If a secret is lost or exposed, create a new API App or rotate the credentials where supported.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the destination URLs, campaigns, metadata, CSV uploads, API requests, users, integrations, and content you create or manage through Your New URL. Do not use Your New URL to store or transmit sensitive information in URLs. Do not use Your New URL for phishing, malware, spam, fraud, harassment, illegal activity, or deceptive redirects.

Children's privacy

Your New URL is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the last updated date above. Continued use of Your New URL after an update means you accept the updated policy.
