Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Your New URL, a high-volume business short-link platform operated by Budder Technology LLC. By creating an account, using the website, uploading CSV files, creating links, using the API, or accessing any part of Your New URL, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you are using Your New URL on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Service description

Your New URL helps businesses create, manage, redirect, and report on short links through dashboard tools, CSV upload, API Apps, Brand Paths, optional expiration dates, campaign tags, click tracking, and related features.

No sensitive data in URLs

Do not place protected health information, sensitive personal data, passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, private customer data, or confidential information directly in URLs, short link metadata, campaign names, titles, external IDs, CSV uploads, or API requests.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, password, API App Key, API App Secret, temporary auth tokens, and any activity that occurs under your account or workspace.

API App Secrets are shown only when generated. Store secrets safely. If you believe your account, secret, token, or integration has been compromised, you must revoke or replace the affected credentials and notify us promptly.

API Apps and integrations

Your New URL may allow you to create API Apps for integrations with CRMs, billing systems, internal tools, automation platforms, and other business systems. You are responsible for the systems you connect, the requests they send, and the destination URLs they create.

We may rate limit, suspend, revoke, or restrict API Apps that exceed plan limits, create abuse risk, cause service instability, or violate these terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use Your New URL to:

• Send or facilitate spam, phishing, malware, fraud, scams, deceptive redirects, or impersonation.
• Violate laws, regulations, third-party rights, platform rules, or messaging/email compliance requirements.
• Redirect users to harmful, illegal, misleading, adult exploitative, hateful, abusive, or unauthorized content.
• Collect sensitive data through deceptive or unauthorized means.
• Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, probe, attack, or disrupt Your New URL.
• Bypass plan limits, billing controls, rate limits, security checks, or access restrictions.
• Create links that misrepresent the destination, sender, business, or purpose of the communication.

We may disable links, revoke API Apps, suspend workspaces, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk to Your New URL, users, recipients, infrastructure, or the public.

Links, destinations, and reporting

You are solely responsible for destination URLs and the content, services, products, forms, payment pages, portals, documents, or systems they point to. Your New URL does not control third-party destination websites.

Click tracking, bot/preload filtering, analytics, reports, and usage data are provided for operational insight and may not be perfect. Some email clients, SMS apps, security scanners, browsers, bots, crawlers, and preview tools may access links before a human recipient does. Your New URL attempts to classify some of this activity where possible, but does not guarantee perfect detection.

Plans, billing, and limits

Your New URL plans may include limits such as links created per month, redirects per month, API Apps, CSV upload availability, Brand Path availability, data retention, support level, and other features. Usage limits may be enforced automatically or manually.

Paid subscriptions may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. You authorize applicable subscription charges, taxes, and fees according to the plan you select. Billing terms, renewal dates, cancellation rules, refunds, upgrades, and downgrades may depend on the plan, Stripe settings, and any separate written agreement.

Deleting links does not necessarily reduce monthly usage counters. Usage counters may remain for billing, limit enforcement, auditing, and abuse prevention.

Brand Paths

Eligible plans may allow a workspace-level Brand Path, such as ynu.io/bud/abc12345. Brand Paths are subject to availability, reserved words, formatting rules, plan eligibility, and approval. Once created, a Brand Path may be locked and not changeable through the normal account interface.

We may reject, reserve, rename, disable, or reclaim Brand Paths that are misleading, infringing, abusive, offensive, illegal, inactive, or likely to cause confusion.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Your New URL may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, hosting issues, internet outages, security events, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control. We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Intellectual property

Your New URL, its software, design, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by Budder Technology LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Your New URL except as permitted by law or by a separate written agreement.

You retain responsibility for the data, URLs, files, metadata, and content you provide to Your New URL. You grant us permission to process that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Termination

You may stop using Your New URL at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Your New URL if you violate these terms, fail to pay, create abuse risk, exceed limits, or use the service in a way that could harm Your New URL, Budder Technology LLC, other users, recipients, third parties, or the public.

Disclaimers

Your New URL is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budder Technology LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, perfect analytics, perfect bot filtering, and compatibility with every third-party system.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budder Technology LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to Your New URL.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we update them, we will revise the last updated date above. Continued use of Your New URL after an update means you accept the updated terms.
